Interior Plains

The Interior Plains is a vast physiographic^[1] region of central North America spanning the Laurentian craton.^[2] It extends across the east flank of the Rocky Mountains^[3] to the gulf coast region to the Arctic Beaufort sea.^[4] The interior plains stretch through the United States to Canada.
